The exotic Bubinga wood is a reddish-brown wood, very finely veined with purplish red. Bubinga is an exotic wood from Central Africa and darkens with age.
Bubinga has a close resemblance to rosewood, and is often used in place of more expensive woods. Yet, Bubinga also features a host of stunning grain figures, such as flamed, pommel, and waterfall, which make this wood truly unique.
Its grain is straight to interlock and has a uniform fine to medium texture and moderate natural luster.
